Lingonberries have a lot of microelements necessary for good functioning of the body, and in combination with carrots they are simply a storehouse of vitamins.

To prepare this simple recipe we will need: lingonberries – 1 kilogram; carrots – 0.5 kilograms; granulated sugar - 0.35 kilograms.

How to make lingonberry and carrot jam at home.

Quick lingonberry jam with carrots

Sort the berries, wash them in cool water and boil them in boiling water for a couple of seconds.

Wash the carrots well, cut off the ends, peel, remove spoiled areas.

Cut the prepared carrots into circles no larger than 0.5 centimeters and boil in boiling water for no more than 10 minutes.

After processing, place the lingonberries in a container for making jam, add granulated sugar, boil and cook for 10 minutes. Add the boiled carrots.

Let it cook, stirring occasionally. When the mixture heats up and boils, you need to reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Place the product in jars and sterilize 0.5/1 liter jars for 15/20 minutes.

All that remains is to close the lids and wrap until cool.
