How to cook compote for the winter at home.

Ripe, whole berries (preferably larger ones), separated from the bunch, wash and place in a colander.

After the water has drained, place the currants in banks. You can add 4-5 rose hips. Rose hips are added for better taste, color and greater benefits of compote.

Shake the jars a couple of times, compacting the berries tightly.

Pour over hot sugar syrup.

Leave for 20 minutes pasteurization under covered lids.

Roll up.
