Homemade recipe for preparing meat bones for future use

This type of preparation is suitable in cases where you have killed or bought a large pig, and it is simply not possible to store bones in the freezer for making broth. According to this homemade recipe, you can prepare raw bones for future use for cooking broth or jellied meat.

Ingredients:

Preserving bones at home is easy to do. To do this you need:

  • cut the bones into pieces that fit freely into jars;
  • Pour boiling water over the chopped bones;
  • sprinkle with salt at the rate of 1 kg of bones, 1 tbsp. salt;
  • Tamp the jars very tightly with the seeds;
  • Fill jars with homemade preparations with boiling water or hot broth;
  • sterilize containers with bones (1 liter volume - 3 hours, 2 liters volume - 4 hours).

In this way, you can prepare not only raw bones for future use, but also smoked or previously boiled bones. Your four-legged pets will be grateful for such care for them.

From bones preserved in this way, broths for first courses are no worse in taste than from fresh ones.
