Our delicious homemade tomato adjika is a wonderful and quick homemade recipe. It combines four types of vegetables and fruits with aromatic spices. As a result, we get an excellent seasoning for meat, fish or other dishes.
A set of products for preparing adjika at home:
- tomatoes 2.5 kg.
- carrots 1 kg.
- apples 1 kg.
— red capsicum 100 g
— sweet pepper 1 kg.
- garlic 200 g.
- sugar 1 cup
- vinegar 1 glass
- salt 0.25 cups
- a glass of sunflower oil.
How to make adjika from tomatoes at home.
All vegetables must be thoroughly washed and ground in a meat grinder.
Then put the resulting mixture in a saucepan, stir, and cook over low heat for 1 hour. We count the time from the moment the mixture boils.
The mixture should cool to room temperature. After this, add crushed garlic, salt, sugar, vinegar and sunflower oil.
Adjika needs to be mixed well and placed in clean, sterilized, hot jars or milk bottles prepared in advance. Close the jars with lids. For bottles, if there are no caps, you can use baby nipples.
We store our preparation in a cool place, or better yet, in the refrigerator.
