In ancient Rus', boiled pork was a royal delicacy dish. No mere mortal could try such culinary delights. And these days such a dish is available to everyone. Every housewife today knows how to cook delicious boiled pork. And if anyone else doesn’t know or wants to know how others cook, then I suggest you try this simple recipe. Using this home method, any housewife can very easily prepare juicy and appetizing boiled pork.

To prepare this dish, a whole piece of lean pork (loin) weighing about two kilograms is best suited. But it is also possible to cook boiled pork from turkey breast, chicken breast or young veal meat.

We will cook boiled pork in brine.

We prepare brine for meat from the following products:

  • water – 2500 ml;
  • bay leaf – 2 pcs.;
  • sugar – 1 tbsp. lie (with a slide);
  • garlic – 4 cloves;
  • table salt – 1/3 cup;
  • mayonnaise – 2 tbsp. (with a slide);
  • allspice (peas) – 3-5 peas;
  • marjoram (dried ground) - 1 tsp. (with a slide);
  • black pepper (ground) – 1 teaspoon.

To prepare the brine, you need to pour water into a bowl with a thick bottom. Then, with constant stirring, we add spices, chopped garlic and mayonnaise to the water.Next, we need to boil the brine and, after removing the container from the heat, wait for it to cool completely.

Now, you need to place a piece of pork in a container with cooled brine, and then bring the contents to a boil and simmer over medium heat for five minutes.

After this, remove the meat in the brine from the heat again and let it cool (covered) and soak in the spicy brine for 12 hours.

After half a day, the meat in the sauce must be boiled again and boiled for another five minutes.

Next, we let the meat cool again under the closed lid for 3-4 hours.

That's all, our boiled pork is ready. The brine in which the meat was cooked can be drained. We need to wrap the meat in foil or cling film and place it in a cold place for storage.
