Apricot jam - a recipe for making jam for the winter at home.
You can make apricot jam for the winter using this easy and time-consuming cooking method. The advantage of this recipe is the use of overripe fruits. Consequently, not very good fruits will be processed and nothing will be wasted.
Well, well, let's start and make jam ourselves, at home. For this we need the following products:
- 1 kg. apricots;
- 1 glass of water or apple juice;
- 1 kg. Sahara.
Making apricot jam step by step:
Remove seeds and damaged areas from the fruit.
Attention: it is even good if the apricots are overripe and bruised.
Now, you need to fill them with water/juice and cook for 10 minutes.
Add sugar, stir and continue cooking. Stir regularly until done. The jam turns out jelly-like and thick.
Place the hot apricot jam into jars.
Cover with parchment paper.
Apricot jam is best stored in a cool place. It is beautiful and tasty and is great for yeast or shortbread baking or simply with fresh white roll/bread and aromatic, hot tea.
