Simple and delicious plum and strawberry jam for the winter
Jam is a jelly-like product containing pieces of fruit. Making delicious plum and strawberry jam at home is quite easy if you follow the cooking rules. The main difference between jam and other similar preparations is that the fruit must be well boiled.

Ingredients:
1 kg + 1 glass of granulated sugar;
1 kg plums (sweet and sour);
0.5 glasses of water;
1 cup strawberries;
0.5 packets of vanillin.
How to make plum and strawberry jam for the winter
Before you start cooking, you need to prepare the main ingredients. We wash the plum and let the water drain, placing it in a colander. Then, the fruits need to be cut into quarters, removing the seeds. There is no need to peel it.
After pouring the resulting mass into a saucepan with thick walls, add water and let it simmer for 7 minutes. Then, lowering the heat and stirring, cook for another 20 minutes.
Let's start adding sugar. For plum jam with strawberries, add sugar one glass at a time every 5 minutes and mix thoroughly. It is best to stir with a wooden spatula with a long handle, reaching until the very day.
After all the granulated sugar has been poured into the dough, leave it to simmer for about half an hour so that the jam thickens.
10 minutes before the end of cooking, add vanillin and strawberries. Strawberries can be replaced with frozen strawberries.This small addition will give our plum jam an amazing smell and taste.
IN sterilized jars you need to spread out the hot product and let it stand for about 5 minutes, then roll it up.
