How to wet pears for the winter.
For soaking, it is better to select pear fruits with dense pulp and well-ripened, but without overripe or burst parts, lingonberries.
It is better to make the preparation in a wooden tub, but any other non-oxidizing container will do.
We put the pears in our container for soaking, generously sprinkling them with lingonberries and arranging them with fragrant blackcurrant leaves. For ten kilograms of pears two kilograms of lingonberries will go, and each housewife will add currant leaves to her own taste.
To prepare soaked pears we need wort: 10 liters of water, 10 teaspoons. curdled milk, salt - 2 tbsp. lodge and 1 tbsp. lie mustard powder.
We fill our pears and berries with wort, leave them warm for 8-10 days to begin fermentation, and put them away for cold storage.
