It is best to keep opened containers of flax in any form in the refrigerator in a tightly closed plastic container.

Most of the healing qualities are in the fresh decoction.Therefore, it is customary to prepare a small portion of it, for just a few meals. Flaxseed oil also does not tolerate long-term storage. It is adversely affected by external factors. It is imperative to store flaxseed oil in a dark glass container that is hermetically sealed in a refrigeration device.

Only in a tightly sealed container can the product be suitable for consumption for 1 year. After this period ends, it should be thrown away.

Opened flaxseed oil is suitable for use during the first 2 weeks. After this period, the product must be disposed of, as the oxidation process will begin. After this, it will become hazardous to health. When opening a bottle of oil, it is advisable to write the date on it in order to know exactly when the 2 weeks will end.
