The most optimal place for storing excavated ranunculus is considered to be a basement, which has good ventilation and a temperature of +4 °C...+6 °C. Lower thermometer readings can kill the plant.

You can’t just leave tubers in boxes. They must be additionally wrapped in dry moss or send it in paper packaging. You can also cover the rhizomes of buttercups with sand or peat.Before placing the tubers in the basement, they need to be dipped in the foundation for half an hour (to disinfect), then dried in a shaded place (this will take about 3 days). If the quantity of ranunculus is small, it can be stored in a paper bag in the refrigerator.

Before planting the nodules in the ground, you need to gently shake them to get rid of sand and leave them in water for a while.
