How to pickle green beans for the winter - a simple homemade recipe for pickled green beans.

In order for the beans to be as tasty as possible, you will need young pods without fiber. If they are present in your bean variety, they must be removed manually, along with the tips of the pod on both sides. A simple recipe for pickling green beans will help you preserve their taste and beneficial properties for the winter.

For the preparation you will need:

— green beans (its quantity depends on the number of jars);

— water — 2 liters;

— salt — 100 g;

— sugar — 100 g;

— vinegar essence — 30-35 g;

- spices: bay leaf, red hot pepper, cloves and cinnamon.

Also, you will need clean liter jars.

The pods must be blanched for 2-4 minutes.

Place spices on the bottom of each jar, then the beans (vertically).

Next, we’ll prepare a marinade for green beans from the products specified in the recipe.

Add the boiling marinade to the jars with the preparations, cover with lids and set for sterilization. For liter jars, 5-7 minutes are enough. If you want your pickled asparagus beans to be as crispy as possible, instead of sterilizing, use a more gentle processing method - hold the jars for 20 minutes at a temperature of +85 degrees.

The tasty preparation must be stored in a cool cellar or basement.

Such pickled green beans will become a delicious snack in winter, the basis of soup. It can be eaten as an independent dish, seasoned with oil, sour cream and vinegar, and added to salads.
