How to store minced meat in the freezer

Only absolutely fresh products are allowed to be stored in the freezer. It is correct if, before sending it for storage in such a device, the minced meat is divided into small portions. This is necessary so that you don’t have to re-freeze it later (such manipulation is unacceptable).It is advisable to remove as much air as possible from packages with semi-finished meat products. The packaging must be hermetically sealed. In addition to the fact that this procedure will extend the shelf life of the minced meat, it will also significantly save space on the freezer shelf.

If the freezer has a blast freezing function, that is, the temperature conditions in it are -18 °C, then the minced meat will be suitable for consumption for 3 months, and at -12 °C no more than 1 month.

It is generally undesirable to store minced meat to which onions have been added. But if it so happens that there is no other way out, it can be placed in a refrigeration device for just a few hours (no longer than 6). In the freezer, such a product in an airtight package will remain suitable for no longer than 2 days.
