The pate can be stored in vacuum-sealed portion bags in the refrigerator for a week. Many people freeze it in tightly sealed containers. If the freezer has a blast freeze (-18 °C), then the product can be used for six months.

Proper storage of store-bought pate

Store-bought pate has a longer shelf life thanks to special preservatives. An unopened product can be suitable for from 3 months to 1 year (it all depends on the nuances of preparation in production and packaging). The expiration date is always indicated on the packaging.You can store such a pate outside of a refrigeration device, the main thing is that the room with the product is dark and the thermometer readings do not exceed the +20 °C mark.

You cannot store it in an open tin container; it is best to place the dish in a glass or earthenware container with a tight lid. The pate will be good for 5 days after opening. You only need to keep it in the refrigerator.

The pate can be frozen in a regular plastic bag tightly tied. Under such conditions, it will remain edible for up to six months. It is very good when there is a quick freezing function (-18 ° C).

Store-bought pates, which are packaged in film at the factory, can be stored for 15 to 30 days. Opened product must be consumed within 3 days. It is advisable to squeeze it into a glass container, or put it directly in film into a plastic container. Store in refrigeration only.
