The amount of water should be calculated based on the amount of persimmon. To make the compote rich, you should take 1 glass of water and sugar to taste for 1 persimmon.
Wash the persimmon, peel it and cut it into slices. Or, scoop out the pulp with a spoon and place it in a saucepan.
Add sugar, add water and cook after boiling for about 5 minutes. Then cover the pan with a lid and let the compote brew.
Dried persimmon compote is prepared in the same way, you just need to increase the cooking time to 15 minutes.

Preparing persimmon compote for the winter
Wash the persimmon and cut it into slices.
Place persimmons in clean jars.
For preservation, you should increase the amount of sugar and adhere to the following proportions:

- 4 persimmons;
- 1 cup of sugar.
Make syrup from water and sugar. Carefully pour the syrup into the jar and immediately close with a metal lid.
Turn the bottle upside down and wrap it well with a warm blanket.
