They are moderately sour, saturated with the aroma of spices and garlic, firm and crispy. But is it possible to preserve this taste and aroma for the winter? You can, and this recipe will help with that. It is quite simple, but it makes it possible to preserve all the above qualities of cucumbers at home for the whole year.
So, you need to take fresh young cucumbers, wash them and trim the tails.
In a bowl, mix 100 g of grated horseradish roots, a little chopped horseradish and 5-6 chopped garlic cloves.
Pour half of this mixture onto the bottom of the pan, add a few rings of hot pepper, add cucumbers and cover with the remaining spices.
In a separate container, you need to prepare brine for lightly salted cucumbers prepared for the winter. To do this, add 50 g of salt for each liter of water and boil for several minutes. Then cool, filter and pour over the cucumbers.
Tie the pan with gauze and simply leave it in the room for 3 - 4 days.
Then, drain all the liquid, bring to a boil and strain.
