And how to make jam from unripe melon.

Cooking this jam follows the same principle as cooking any other similar sweet preparation. You need to take the melons, peel them and scrape out the seeds and internal fibers with a spoon.

Cut 1 kg of pulp into equal cubes and place them in boiling water.

Cook for about four minutes and then quickly plunge into ice water.

After cooling, transfer to a bowl.

Pour sugar syrup (600 g of sand and 2 cups of water) over the blanched melon.

The first time, boil the jam for 4 minutes, and then let it cool.

Before boiling again, pour another 600 g of sugar into the basin with the melon.

Cook for a few minutes until the melon becomes translucent. At this point add a pinch of lemon to the jam.

After cooling again, finish cooking the sweet preparation.

This tasty and unusual melon jam, like all other preparations, should be stored in small jars located in a dark and, preferably, cool place.
