And it must be said that this is not just freezing, but a means to preserve the healing properties of turnips as much as possible until the next harvest. It is no secret that when stored in a cellar, or simply in the refrigerator, vegetables can rot, sprout, and over time, all carcinogens and nitrates from the peel smoothly spread throughout the entire vegetable, right to the very center. And as a result, you may not get a set of vitamins, but severe poisoning of the body. The only way to prevent this is to freeze the turnips.

For freezing, select medium-sized turnips with no signs of rot or lethargy. Wash the root vegetables thoroughly and peel them.
