For drying, select potatoes of the same average size.

Peel the tubers and cut into circles up to 4 mm thick.

The potatoes prepared in this way must be placed in a linen bag of a suitable size and then placed in boiling water. Cook for 2-3 minutes, and then cool under running water.

Hang the bag to allow the liquid to drain completely.

Next, remove the potato mugs from the bag and place them on a baking sheet, possibly a silicone one.

Dry in a low oven until the potatoes begin to resemble chips. If you have an electric dryer, then it is better to use it.

Dried potatoes can be eaten on their own, without cooking. In conditions of outdoor recreation, its presence makes it possible to quickly cook a delicious dish. Dried circles just need to be soaked in hot water and wait until the potatoes swell and cook.
