This recipe preserves everything that cranberries are good for. Cranberries are antiseptic in nature, thanks to benzoic acid, which prevents bacteria from developing, and can be stored fresh without processing for quite a long time. But in order to preserve it for a whole year or longer, you still need to use a preservation recipe.

To prepare cranberries for the winter, take 7 parts of selected cranberries and 3 parts of cranberry juice.

We wash the collected fresh cranberries in a sieve several times and leave them in it for a short time to drain the water.

We sort through: we select ripe berries of the same color, and prepare juice from suppressed and overripe fruits.

Mix whole berries and cranberry juice, heat to 95°C, do not let the preparation boil, but quickly place in jars and sterilize: 0.5 l - 5-8 minutes, 1 l - 10-15 minutes, 3 l – 20-25 min.

Next, you should roll up the cans with a special machine.

During the entire winter and early spring, when we are so lacking in vitamins, we take cranberries in their own juice as a vitamin supplement, make fruit drinks, compotes, and filling for pies.
