- 1/3 of a 3-liter jar of apricot;
- 1 orange;
- 200 g sugar;
- 2 liters of water.
How to make apricot and orange compote
The first stage is preparing the syrup. The key to a successfully prepared compote is a well-prepared syrup. It is known that syrups of different ratios are prepared for all groups of fruits and berries, therefore, it is necessary to strictly follow the recipe. The technique for preparing it is very simple. Pour 2 liters of water into a suitable container. Add 200 grams of sugar to warm water (not boiling!). Stir the mixture and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Wash the apricots, divide them into halves, remove the pits and place them in a bowl. clean jar.
Thoroughly wash the orange and cut it into equal slices along with the zest and place it with the apricots.
