Now, in detail and step by step - how to cook apricot compote with pits for the winter.
To prepare compote according to this recipe, we will need medium and small sized, ripe, undamaged apricots!
They must be washed, peeled, dried and packaged in jars, packed tightly.
Then you need to pour boiling sugar syrup. To do this, take 250g of sugar per 750 ml of water.
Since we have apricots with pits, the jars with compote must be sterilized by placing them in a container with water heated to 55-60°C and wait until the water boils. Sterilize half-liter jars in boiling water for 9 minutes, liter jars for 12 minutes, and three-liter jars for 25 minutes.
Afterwards, we immediately roll up the jars, turn them upside down and let them cool. Now, we put the apricot compote in storage and wait for winter, when the opportunity to try this wonderful, tasty and healthy drink will come up.
