To prepare compote, blueberries are carefully sorted, leaving whole juicy, ripe fruits. The berries are washed well with cold water. Prepared sterile jars are filled with blueberries (a little more than half the container). To compact the berries, it is recommended to gently shake each jar. Fill the contents of the jar with hot sugar syrup to the top (for 1 liter - 3 tablespoons of sugar). Sterilize for 15 minutes. Seal tightly with a seaming machine, turn the lids down, cover with a towel and leave to cool. Blueberry compote can be stored at room temperature.
