Compote of spanka and black currants for the winter
Many people don’t like cherry spanka because of its appearance. It seems that these unsightly berries are good for nothing at all. But you can’t find anything better for preparing compotes for the winter. Shpanka is meaty and gives the drink enough acidity.
In order for the prepared compote from spandex to have a beautiful color, it should be combined with black currants when canning. This combination will result in the optimal drink option. I suggest you make my proven recipe for blackcurrant and spanka compote with step-by-step photos.
The following ingredients are for 3 liters:

How to prepare compote from spanka and black currants for the winter
We start making the preparation by selecting only unspoiled berries. We separate them from the tails and wash them. The bones should be removed. We don't need them at all. It’s better to take them out and spend a little time doing it than to worry later that toxic substances may be released from them.
Separate the currant berries from the stems and wash them.
We wash the jars, sterilize them, and turn them upside down.
Place peeled spanka berries and black currants in jars.
Prepare syrup from a glass of sugar and the required amount of water.
Pour the resulting syrup over the berries. We use a special key to seal jars of compote.
At night, you should set aside a place for the cans, place them upside down and wrap them in something warm.
The very next day you can transfer this delicious currant and cherry compote to the cellar.
When you open the prepared jar in winter, you will be able to taste and treat your family to such a beautiful and tasty homemade compote from spanka as in the photo.
