The summer season always brings pleasant chores; all that remains is to preserve the harvest. Fresh cucumbers for the winter can be easily preserved in jars with the addition of vinegar. The proposed recipe is also good because the preparation process occurs without sterilization, which makes the work easier and reduces the time required for preparation. The result of the effort expended is the most delicious, crispy, canned cucumbers.
In order to close a three-liter jar of fresh cucumbers with the addition of vinegar, you will need:
— 1.5-2 kg of fresh cucumbers;
- a few cloves of garlic;
- 1 pod each of bitter and sweet pepper;
- horseradish leaves;
— dill umbrellas;
- black and allspice peas;
— 1.5 liters of water;
- 90 g vinegar;
- salt 60 g;
- granulated sugar 30 g.
How to preserve cucumbers without sterilization using the double pour method.
We prepare a 3-liter jar, wash it with soda, rinse with boiling water.
Place horseradish at the bottom of the jar.
It is advisable to soak the cucumbers in cold water for 2 hours in advance. After this procedure, they will retain their elasticity and crunchy qualities when preserved. Then, we place them in a jar, placing the larger ones at the bottom and the smaller ones at the top.
Add half a hot and sweet pepper, peeled garlic, a mixture of black and allspice, and add dill on top.
Pickling cucumbers is easy to make.First, boil water in a saucepan and pour it into the jar with the preparation. Cover it with a lid and wrap it up so that the jar warms up. After a quarter of an hour, pour the liquid back into the saucepan. Now, add salt and sugar to it and boil again.
Add a stack of 9% vinegar to the jar, pour in the boiled brine and roll it up. Wrap the cucumber blanks upside down on the lid and let them cool for a day.
