And so, for four liter jars you need:
- 7 glasses of water;
- Chili ketchup 200 gr;
- sugar 180 gr;
- vinegar 200 gr;
- salt 2 tbsp.
How to preserve cucumbers with chili ketchup for the winter
Rinse the cucumbers thoroughly and remove any dirt.
Prepare liter jars, dip the lids in hot water, softening the rubber seals.
In a liter jar we put 8 black peppercorns, 2 bay leaves, 2 grams of dry mustard, 2 pieces of horseradish, 1 currant leaf, 2-3 dill inflorescences, 1 bunch of cloves, whole small cucumbers.
Combine water with ketchup in a container, adding sugar and salt. Without forgetting to stir, bring the brine to a boil. Finally, reduce the heat and add vinegar. Boil for another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cover the cucumbers with boiling brine and start sterilize about 15 minutes. After putting out the fire, leave the jars of pickling in the water for a minute. Take out and quickly roll up with iron lids, place on the lids and wrap lightly.
It is advisable to store such pickles in a cool place.
