How to pickle rowan berries for the winter.

To prepare this recipe, you need to select well-ripened rowan fruits, preferably picked after the first frost. To begin with, we will remove them from the branches and wash them thoroughly.

After which, our red berries can be transferred to a container for soaking (barrel, bucket, enamel or glassware).

It will be very tasty if you add sliced ​​or whole apples to the rowan berries.

Fill the container to the top with chilled brine and leave it in a warm place for two to three days to start the fermentation process.

Next, you can put our workpiece for storage in a cold place.

Brine for rowan:

– water – 1 liter;

- salt - 5 g;

- sugar - 1 tbsp. lodge;

- cloves - 0.5 g;

- cinnamon - 1 gr.

Preparing the brine is simple: collect all the ingredients and bring to a boil.
