This homemade recipe for preparing rowan berries with honey is quite painstaking, but the preparation will turn out aromatic, tasty and sooooo healthy. So, I think the game is worth the candle. After spending time and making efforts, you will get vitamin-rich and very tasty rowan jam with honey.

It is better to pick berries for our homemade preparation after the first frost.

Proportions of products for harvesting rowan:

- rowan berries - 400 gr.;

— bee honey — 200 gr.

And so, we simply separate the rowan berries from the branches and select the fruits without damage.

Then, each berry must be pricked with a needle.

Pour boiling water over the pierced berries, cover the container with rowan berries and wait until the berries become soft.

After this, strain the water through a sieve.

Add the berries to the boiled honey and cook until the berries are ready, but no more than 20-25 minutes. As with any other jam, until the preparation reaches the required thickness, we periodically remove the foam.

At the end of cooking, rowanberry jam with honey should be transferred to jars for storage.

In winter, we serve this jam for tea, enjoy the taste and replenish the body’s supply of vitamins. We can also use it as a base for winter drinks and desserts.
