Lightly salted crispy cucumbers in a jar - an original and simple recipe for the winter.
This recipe for pickling cucumbers for the winter is quite easy, it does not require special expenses, but it has its own original features. Master the preparation and guests will beg for the recipe for your lightly salted crispy cucumbers. When you eat it, it seems like they were just brought from the garden and sprinkled with a little salt.
How to prepare crispy lightly salted cucumbers for the winter:

Choose smooth cucumbers of the same size
Place seasonings at the bottom of the jar: bay leaf, blackcurrant leaves, horseradish, garlic, peppercorns. If possible, use all of the listed seasonings, as together they will give a special, unique taste to the pickling.
Pack the cucumbers tightly into jars. Fill them with cold brine (2.5 tablespoons of salt in 1 liter of water). Place in a dark place for 4 - 5 days to soak in brine.
Afterwards, drain the brine. We carefully wash the cucumbers 2 - 3 times with clean water. Make sure that all seasonings remain in the jar.
Fill the washed, clean cucumbers with cold running water and roll up the jars.
Lightly salted cucumbers are stored for a long time in a dark, cool place. Crispy cucumbers will be good at any time of the year with potatoes (mashed, fried or whole and hot) and in delicious salads.
