Pickled lingonberries are good on their own, but apple or pear slices added in this homemade recipe go well with aromatic and sour lingonberries.

And so, for our preparation we will need to take:

Lingonberry berry

— Lingonberry berries – 1 kg;

— Pears / apples – 0.5 kg.

For the marinade:

— Water – 630 ml. (this is -2.5 glasses);

— Table vinegar – 125 ml. (this is 0.5 cups);

- Sugar - 10 table. false;

— Salts – a third of a teaspoon;

— Spices to choose from: — cloves, allspice, cinnamon.

We prepare the lingonberries for harvesting - we sort them and wash them.

Fruits (apples or pears), cut into four parts, need to be blanched in boiling water. For apples, 1-3 minutes are enough, and for pears a little longer - 4-5 minutes.

After blanching, sharply cool the fruit slices with cold water.

Next, we place the workpiece in jars, either by pre-mixing the berries and fruits, or by alternating layers.

Marinade - cook and cool in advance.

After that, we fill the jars with the workpiece with the cooled marinade filling, which we then sterilize. We sterilize two-liter jars - 25 minutes, and 15 minutes is enough for liter jars.

After such processing, the pieces with pickled lingonberries must be rolled up immediately.

In winter, we open the jars and enjoy an assortment of pickled fruits and lingonberries. This simple recipe for pickling fruits and lingonberries for the winter allows you to make homemade preparations that are healthy, juicy and aromatic.
