How to pickle cucumbers with vinegar, curry and onions for the winter.
Wash the cucumbers, trim the ends and soak them in cold water for several hours. This must be done if the harvest was harvested the day before or in extreme heat.
Then, drain the water, cut the cucumbers into wide circles and mix with salt.
In the meantime, prepare the marinade for cucumbers from the ingredients listed above and let it cool.
After three hours, drain the resulting juice from the pickled cucumbers, and place the cucumbers themselves in liter jars on a clean floor and add the marinade.
Sterilize for 20 minutes.
The approximate yield of the finished product is 8 ½ liter cans.
In hot weather, it is advisable to store such curried cucumbers in the cellar, as the marinade may become cloudy. You can eat such preparations, but their taste becomes worse, more sour than usual. Alternatively, it is better to prepare this recipe closer to autumn, when there is no longer any intense heat.
