Here are the vegetable ingredients and spices for the marinade that are needed for simple preparation for the winter. The ingredients are for a 0.5 liter jar:
- cucumbers – 2-3 pieces;
- carrots – 1 piece;
- dill umbrella - 1 piece;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- black peppercorns – 3 pieces;
- hot red pepper – 2 rings;
- granulated sugar – 2 teaspoons;
- salt – 1 teaspoon;
- vinegar – 20 ml.
How to cook pickled cucumbers with carrots for the winter
We start making the preparation by washing the cucumbers and carrots. Peel the carrots and garlic. Cut cucumbers and carrots into rings for preservation.
Let's start adding ingredients to steamed jars. To begin, place an umbrella of dill, garlic, and both types of pepper on the bottom.
Place cucumber and carrot rings.
Fill the contents with marinade, for which you need to dissolve sugar and salt in 200 ml of boiling water, boil, and finally pour in 9% table vinegar. Cover the jar with a lid, then place it in a saucepan with hot water. Boil 10 minutes. To prevent the jar with the preparation from bursting, cover the bottom of the pan with a cloth napkin.
Now, the cans should simply be rolled up using a seaming wrench.
Delicious marinated vegetable platter is ready. All that remains is to simply put the jars with pickled cucumbers and carrots on the lids under insulation. After complete cooling, store the workpieces in a cool place.
