If you master the recipe for pickling green tomatoes, then this is no longer scary for you. After all, from green unripe tomatoes you can prepare a very tasty, slightly spicy homemade preparation.

For this homemade recipe, you need to select green tomato fruits that are approximately the same in size and shape. The uniformity of their impregnation with marinade depends on this.

How to pickle green tomatoes in jars for the winter.

Wash the tomatoes calibrated in this way and cut them with a well-sharpened knife.

Into the resulting cuts we put a small slice of garlic and a little parsley or dill. It is not forbidden to put both herbs.

Then carefully place the green tomatoes and garlic into liter jars and fill them with boiling marinade.

Jars with the preparation need to be sterilized for twenty minutes, then rolled up.

Marinade for tomatoes per liter of water:

- Salt - 1 table. spoon;

- Sugar - 2 tables. spoons;

— Table vinegar – 60 ml.

In winter, pickled green tomatoes prepared in this way remain firm and look and smell very appetizing. They make a great savory appetizer.
