Pickled lingonberries without cooking are good because they completely preserve the beneficial substances in the berries, and the absence of sugar in the recipe allows you to use such lingonberry preparations for sweet dishes or drinks, and as a base for sauces.

How to prepare soaked lingonberries for the winter without cooking and sugar.

Lingonberries must be sorted, removing debris and damaged berries.

Rinse thoroughly and wait for excess liquid to flow around.

Then, the prepared lingonberries are placed in a clean container, where the soaked lingonberries will be harvested and stored. To make the preparation tasty, it is best to use wooden, glass or enamel containers for these purposes.

Next, prepare the filling for the berries. For these purposes, dissolve 5 g of salt and a tablespoon of sugar in 1 liter of water. Place on the fire and add 1 g of cinnamon and a couple of cloves and bring to a boil. If desired, you can add apples cut into several slices, which will improve the taste of the product.

Then, cool the solution and pour in the prepared berries so that they are all immersed in it.

Leave the lingonberries in the filling in a warm place for a couple of days until fermentation begins.

After this, we take the finished soaked lingonberries to the cellar or basement for storage. If there is not much finished product, it can be placed in the refrigerator.
