Soaked apples and squash in jars or barrels

For many, soaked apples are the most delicious treat. Preparing them for the winter does not take much time and effort. If you don’t yet know how to wet apples for the winter, and even together with squash, then this recipe is for you.

And so, we wet it, or rather, how to prepare soaked apples with squash.

Patissons

First of all, we will need, preferably small in size, the main characters in our recipe - squash and apples.

They must be washed first.

Then we put them together in a glass bowl, maybe a barrel, for taste we add cherry, lemongrass and black currant leaves. Fill it all with brine to the very edge and place the press on top.

Apples with squash should be under pressure.

Leave them in a cool place during fermentation.

For brine, we maintain the following proportion: for 1 liter of water - 15 g of salt, 30 g of sugar and 10 g of rye flour. You can use honey instead of sugar - it will be even better!

That's the whole recipe for making soaked apples with squash for the winter. If you master how to wet it correctly, then I’m sure that it will be impossible to tear your pets away from the barrel by the ears.
