An easy recipe for canned carrots will make it possible to prepare any dish with this root vegetable in winter, when there are no fresh ones in the house.

Peeled carrots and cut into thick slices must be placed in boiling water and kept in it for exactly 5 minutes.

Then, use a slotted spoon to remove the pieces onto a sieve and wait for the water to drain. Place the blanched carrots in dry jars and fill with brine made from 200 g of salt and a bucket of water.

Place the filled half-liter jars in a bowl of water and boil for 20 minutes.

Next, put the lids on the jars and roll them up tightly.

Leave the workpieces to cool naturally.

Homemade canned carrots are best stored in a cool place. It is added to dishes 2-3 minutes before readiness, because the carrots have already been cooked.
