A simple method with honey without boiling syrup
For this recipe, take a glass of pure sea buckthorn berries, 3 glasses of water (clean, preferably bottled) and 4 tablespoons of honey.
The berries are crushed with a blender and passed through a fine sieve, squeezing out the juice. Pour the cake with cold water and mix thoroughly. The liquid will change color to pale orange. From sea buckthorn and cranberry
Both fresh and frozen fruits are used for this recipe. Berries in equal proportions of 100 grams are poured into a glass of hot water, and immediately crushed with a blender and filtered. If you don’t have a blender at hand, then use a sieve or cheesecloth, but in this case you need to wait 5-10 minutes so that the frozen fruits completely limp in boiling water.

With oranges
For this recipe you will need half a glass of sea buckthorn and one large orange. Citrus is washed thoroughly. Using a special grater or knife, remove a thin layer of zest from half an orange. The fruit itself is cleaned and the pulp is cut with wheels.
Sea buckthorn berries and orange are crushed in a blender. The juice is squeezed out of the fruit and berry pulp by passing it through a fine sieve or gauze cloth.
Heat 3 cups of water in a saucepan. The zest and cake from berries and oranges are placed in boiling water. Boil the fruit drink base for 5 minutes and then filter it. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to the hot broth, dissolve it by stirring, and then allow to cool almost completely.
Fruit and berry juice is added to the cooled broth. The fruit drink is served with ice cubes, garnished with a fresh mint leaf if desired.
Concentrated fruit drink for colds
Since the cold season usually falls in the winter months, medicinal juice is most often made from frozen sea buckthorn.
2 large handfuls of berries pour ¾ cup of hot water. Using a blender, beat the mixture until smooth. To get rid of seeds and skins of berries, the thick concentrated fruit drink is filtered through a sieve. Instead of sugar, it is best to use fresh honey here. 1 tablespoon will be enough.
The main rule: in order for honey to retain all the beneficial substances, it should be added to fruit juice that has cooled to a temperature of 45-50 degrees.
This drink should be taken once a day until the patient’s condition improves. The amount of natural medicine should be calculated individually. For children under two years old, 1 teaspoon will be enough, and for adults - 100 - 150 milliliters.
Jam juice
This option can be called “grandmother’s”, since at a time when there were no spacious freezers, fruit drinks were mainly made from various types of jam.

How to store sea buckthorn juice
