Natural plums in their own juice with sugar - a quick preparation for the winter from seedless plums.
You can quickly prepare plums for the winter simply by using this simple preparation recipe. Canned plums in their own juice are natural and tasty. All you need to add to the fruit when cooking is sugar.
How to seal plums in their own juice with sugar.
Rinse the ripe plums, dry them, separate them into slices, and remove the seeds.
Place fruit halves in jars, skin side up.
Sprinkle each layer with sugar. In total, you need 150-200 g of sugar per half-liter jar or 200-350 g per liter jar.
As written above, fill the jars to the top, cover them with lids and sterilize them - 15 minutes for half-liter jars, 25 minutes for liter jars.
After sterilization, close the lids hermetically.
It is best to store cooled jars, like any preserved food, in a place that is not too warm.
This preparation for the winter in its own juice perfectly preserves the aroma and taste of the fruit. Canned plums turn out no worse than natural ones. Bon appetit everyone, easy spinning and I look forward to your feedback.
