Natural homemade marmalade from viburnum and apples - how to make marmalade at home.
Not a single marmalade bought in a confectionery store can compare with the aromatic and tasty homemade marmalade from viburnum and apples, prepared according to the recipe offered to you. This preparation is made without artificial preservatives and additional dyes. This natural marmalade can be given even to very young children.
Our marmalade has the following composition:
— viburnum-apple puree – 1 kg;
- sugar - 1 kg.
How to make marmalade from viburnum and apples at home.
Ripe red viburnum berries should be placed in a heat-resistant container, which we cover with a lid and steam the berries in the oven until softened.
Then, grind the viburnum through a sieve to remove the seeds and skin.
Apples (better if they are sweet and sour) also need to be baked.
Mix the pulp of baked apples and viburnum puree and add sugar to our preparation.
Stir the mixture until smooth and then simmer until the puree thickens.
We will spread the boiled puree for further drying in a thin layer in a bowl and further dry our homemade marmalade in a slightly cooled oven (t 50-60°C).
When the marmalade is dry and ready, cut it into pieces.
