How to preserve cucumbers tasty and healthy using the double filling method.
We select identical small young cucumbers, wash them and fill them with water for a period of 4-6 hours. We take them out of the water and wash them thoroughly again. Place the following on the bottom of a 3 liter jar: dill with seeds - 5-6 branches, maybe dry; a handful of cherry and black currant leaves; garlic - 2-3 cloves; black pepper. If you like, you can use hot pepper pods, oak leaves, tarragon branches. Place the cucumbers tightly on top of the fragrant leaves, vertically or as desired.
Then we continue cooking by pouring boiling water over the finished jars for 3-5 minutes. After the allotted time has passed, drain the water and add the ingredients for the brine to it.
For 1 liter of brine you will need: for 1 liter of water, 5-10 g of sugar, 50 g of salt, 5 g of citric acid.
Boil the brine again and refill the jars with their contents.
Cover with sterile lids and roll up.
