Cucumbers with mustard prepared for the winter according to this recipe turn out appetizingly firm and crispy. Pickled cucumbers acquire an unusual aroma and a unique original taste, while retaining all their beneficial properties.

Let us describe the preparation of pickled cucumbers for the winter step by step.

For this recipe, it is better to use small cucumbers.

To begin with, 1 kg of cucumbers are washed and wiped dry.

Then chop a bunch of dill and 150 g of onions.

The prepared ingredients are mixed with 350 g of dry mustard, 5 tbsp. spoons of granulated sugar and ¼ tbsp. spoons of any vinegar.

This mixture is slowly heated over a fire.

While the mass is heating over the fire, grind 1 bay leaf into powder.

Next, add 1 teaspoon of ground pepper and mashed bay leaf to the heated mass. You need to wait until it boils and add small cucumbers.

All ingredients are carefully mixed and the liquid is allowed to boil.
