Spicy adjika with horseradish, tomatoes, apples and garlic for the winter - a simple homemade recipe with photos.

Spicy adjika with horseradish

Homemade adjika is the seasoning that is always on the table or in the refrigerator of every “spicy” lover. After all, with it, any dish becomes much tastier and brighter. Almost every housewife has her own recipe for delicious adjika; there are many options for preparing it.

But this method of preparing delicious homemade adjika with horseradish, garlic, tomatoes, apples and other ingredients at home is, in my opinion, the most delicious and easiest to prepare.

For preparation you will need the following fresh products:

  • 2.5 kg tomato;
  • 1 kg carrots;
  • 1 kg of peeled apples;
  • 1.5 kg of sweet pepper;
  • 200 g horseradish;
  • 200 g garlic;
  • 200 g hot chili pepper.

Spicy adjika with horseradish

We start preparing adjika by grinding tomatoes, carrots, apples and sweet peppers through a meat grinder, combining them in a large saucepan and simmering over low heat for 1 hour.

and grind the horseradish, garlic and hot pepper.

1 hour after the tomato mass starts boiling, throw these ingredients into the pan and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Personally, I didn’t use garlic because my family doesn’t really like its smell and taste. I must say that it turns out quite tasty even without it.

Next, add the following products to the boiling mass:

  • 0.5 cups sugar;
  • 100 g vinegar;
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Bring all the mixed ingredients to a boil, pour into steamed jars and seal.

For rolling, I usually use small mustard jars. This is quite convenient and practical, because the pungency of adjika simply does not have time to wear off during the time of eating such a small amount. And new jars appear on the table one after another. True, this time I used half-liter bottles to prepare adjika.
