Like any other pastille that is prepared from juices, it is better to dry pomegranate pastille in the fresh air or in an electric dryer. Here you can’t rush and speed up drying using the oven. The marshmallow may turn out cloudy or brittle.

Lubricate the marshmallow tray of the electric dryer with vegetable oil, pour in a thin layer of pomegranate syrup (no more than 0.5 cm).

Pomegranate marshmallows need to be dried at a temperature of +55 degrees for 8 hours. From time to time, check the degree of dryness of the marshmallow with a toothpick.

The finished pomegranate pastille turns out to be very thin and elastic.It can be used as a pancake and wrapped in other sweets, or simply eaten as a dessert on its own.

This is an oriental sweet, very tasty, healthy, but very high in calories. This should be taken into account by those who are on a diet or watching their weight.

It is prepared in exactly the same way as the first option, but with the only difference that nuts are added to the syrup. It could be almonds, pistachios, peanuts, or other nuts. Of course, they must be prepared properly, that is, peeled, fried, and finely chopped.

There are a lot of filling options for jezerye, and you can use coconut flakes, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, in general, anything as long as it is tasty and can be dried in an electric dryer.
