Ingredients: 500 g cherries, 250 g sugar.
How to cook candied fruits
Dip clean, pitted cherries into boiling syrup and set aside overnight. Then separate the syrup, boil again, pour over the cherries. Cool. Repeat the procedure until sugar crystals shine on the cherry. Preheat the oven to 150°C and turn off, mark out the candied fruits for drying. Store in foil or parchment. For every sweet tooth, candied fruits are a worthy alternative to sweets. Candied fruits are also used in baked goods and desserts.
