Pureed black currants with sugar are called differently: five-minute jam, cold jam, and even raw jam. The simple recipe is very easy to prepare. Making currant jam in this way makes it possible to preserve all the beneficial properties of the berries.
Jam without cooking will turn out to be of high quality and tasty only if you do not skimp on sugar. The ideal proportion for magically healthy jam 1:2, i.e., 1 kg of black currants and 2 kg of sugar.

How to make cold blackcurrant jam.
Sort out fresh fruits, rinse, and leave to dry.
Pour into a saucepan or tall bowl and add sugar.
You can then make jam in two ways.
Method one - mix whole berries with sugar until it is completely dissolved. In this case, in the finished berry jam, almost all the currants will remain intact.
Method two - Grind the mixture with a blender or pass through a meat grinder. If you choose this method of “cooking” jam, then your cold jam will turn out to be a homogeneous, ground mass.
After the sugar has dissolved, the grated black currants are placed in prepared banks.

It is recommended to close with plastic lids, parchment or other thick paper.
Raw jam can be stored at room temperature, but not for long. If you want to store it for at least six months, then you need to find a place with a lower temperature.
