For many, strawberry jam is the most delicious treat in the world. Such lovers of strawberry jam prepare it for the winter even from the most beautiful and large berries.
Although in fact it can be prepared from the so-called “waste” strawberries - ripe berries of medium and small size.
I am writing our homemade jam recipe. I really like it because it is very simple and tasty.
How to make strawberry jam for the winter.
1. Wash the sorted berries and wait until the water drains.
2. Immerse the berries in hot syrup and cook until tender, stirring constantly and removing foam.
3. About 35 - 40 minutes after the start of boiling, the product is ready.

4. Fill with more hot jam banks, and let it cool.
5. Close the jars with reusable lids, previously wiped with vodka.
At the end of cooking strawberry jam, it’s good to add a little citric acid to improve the color. When receiving liquid jam - jam, the jars should be sterilized for 15 - 20 minutes and rolled up.
Making jam from strawberries requires the following ingredients: 1 kg of berries, 1 kg of sugar, 1 tbsp. water.
To improve the taste of strawberry jam, you can take gooseberry, apple, and red currant juice instead of water. Try different options, and strawberry jam prepared for future use at home will acquire new taste and beneficial properties.
