When the beautiful little cucumbers are already pickled and fermented for the winter, it’s time for such a homemade preparation as “Cucumber Salad.” Cucumbers in a salad marinated according to this recipe turn out tasty, crispy and aromatic. Preparing the salad is very simple, and the result is very tasty.

To make cucumber salad you will need:
cucumbers - 2 kg;
onion - 200-300 gr;
dill - 150-200 gr;
salt - 1.5 tablespoons;
sugar - 3 tablespoons;
vinegar 9% - 8 tablespoons;
vegetable oil - 12 tablespoons.
From the specified amount of products, three 700 gram jars of salad are obtained.

Wash the cucumbers and cut into thin (up to 0.5 cm) rings or half rings.
Onions - peel, wash and also cut into half rings.
Dill - wash, sort and finely chop.
Mix all the chopped products in an enamel bowl of suitable size.
Add salt, sugar, vinegar and vegetable oil.
Mix everything thoroughly and leave for 3-4 hours to marinate. During the marinating process, the salad will significantly decrease in volume.
After the specified time has passed, place the bowl with chopped pickled cucumbers on the fire, bring to a boil and let simmer for 5 minutes. There is no need to boil the salad longer, because... the cucumbers will become soft.
Arrange the cucumber salad in sterilized jars and roll it up.
Turn the jars upside down and leave them in this position until they cool completely.
