If you have lard in your home, an environmentally friendly, natural product, you won’t have to rack your brains over how to feed your family nourishingly, healthy and tasty. At home, you can prepare lard that will be stored for a very long time without any problems. It retains all the beneficial substances that stimulate the functioning of the brain, heart, and vitamins A and D. The recipe for delicious lard in a marinade for long-term storage is very simple, economical and does not require much time.

First of all, prepare the marinade for lard: you need 1 kg of salt for 5 liters of water. Boil everything together, cool and strain, separating the sediment.

Place large pieces of lard in a container convenient for marinating, scald with boiling water and pour in the cooled marinade. Cover with a clean cloth and leave in a cool place.

After three days, transfer the lard to another pan, pour in fresh filling, prepared as the first time, and set aside again.

After another three days, change the fill again.

On the ninth day the semi-finished product is ready. Some of it can be grated with red pepper, stuffed with garlic - slices of such lard are perfect for sandwiches. But such lard does not need to be stored for a long time, since garlic tends to go rancid. Therefore, we prepare only part of the workpiece this way.

Sprinkle the rest of the lard with salt (no spices are needed), wrap in linen, place in a plastic bag and place in the freezer.The preparation does not lose its taste throughout the whole year.
