Lard in honey has a rather unusual taste, but absolutely everyone likes it. To prepare an original snack, in addition to traditional spices, you will also need quite a bit of high-quality honey. The recipe is extremely simple to follow, so anyone can repeat it.

You need to start cooking by taking one liter of water. It will be good if you pass it through a filter or collect it from a well.

Dip the spices into the water: bay leaf (3 pcs.), allspice (6 peas), dry basil herb (1 teaspoon), table salt (2 tablespoons), granulated sugar (1.5 tablespoons).

Next, bring the water with the spices in it to a boil and after bubbling for five minutes, turn off the gas.

When the lard brine has cooled a little, add aromatic honey (3 tablespoons) to it. Stir the honey in the brine and after five minutes place a whole piece of salted lard weighing half a kilogram into the pan.

Place the pan with lard in honey brine in a cooler place and wait until it cools completely.

During this time, the lard will be saturated with aromas, and all you have to do is remove it from the brine, dry it with a linen towel and coat it with honey. For this you will need two more tablespoons of honey.
