Recipes for making syrup from fresh berries
Cold method without water

The dried fruits are placed in a three-liter jar in layers, sprinkling each layer with sugar.They take the same amount of granulated sugar as berries. After the food is finished, cover the container loosely with a lid and place it in the refrigerator for 48 hours. Hot method without water
Place half a kilo of berries in a small saucepan. To make the mass release juice faster, lightly pass the lingonberries with a masher. The crushed berries are covered with 300 grams of sugar, and the bowl is placed on the lowest heat. Boil the berries for 10 minutes, stirring them constantly with a wooden spatula. The hot syrup is filtered through a fine sieve, which is additionally covered with gauze. The cake is later used for cooking vitamin jelly.
Hot method with water
Boil sugar syrup from 1 liter of water and 600 grams of sugar for 10 minutes. Then put half a kilo of clean lingonberries into the boiling solution and immediately turn off the heat. Cover the pan with a lid and let the mixture brew for 5 – 6 hours. After this, the berries are removed, and the syrup is heated again to a boil and lingonberries are added to it. The procedure will be repeated a total of 3 times. The syrup, freed from the berries for the last time, is bottled and sealed.
Frozen lingonberry syrup
A kilogram of frozen berries is covered with 700 grams of granulated sugar and placed in the main compartment of the refrigerator. As the lingonberries defrost, they will release juice, so they will need to be stirred periodically. After 3 days, when the berry is completely covered with syrup and the sugar crystals have dissolved, filter the syrup through a metal sieve.
Lingonberry leaf syrup recipes
From fresh leaves
200 grams of fresh herbs are poured with a liter of boiling water. Cover the bowl with a lid and wrap it in a warm towel. In this form, the infusion should cool completely. This will take about 5 – 6 hours. The cooled mass is filtered through cheesecloth, and the foliage is thoroughly squeezed. The infusion is put on fire and boiled with the addition of 1 kilogram of sugar for 10 minutes. The finished syrup is packaged in bottles and screwed on with lids.
From dried
50 grams of dried lingonberry leaves are poured with 1 liter of boiling water. The mass is boiled under the lid for 5 minutes, and then infused under a warm blanket for 1 hour. The swollen greens are filtered through cheesecloth and squeezed. 1 kilogram of sugar is placed in the decoction and boiled until thickened for a quarter of an hour.
