Honey radish syrup - 3 preparation methods
Syrup in root vegetable
Medium or large-sized radishes are washed under running water.Use a stiff plastic brush to clean particularly contaminated areas. The thoroughly cleaned root vegetable is visually divided into 3 parts, excluding the tail. The top third is cut off with a sharp knife. This will be the so-called “lid”.
A depression is made in the rest of the root. Depending on the size of the vegetable, it can be from 2 to 4 centimeters. There should be 1 - 2 centimeters of pulp remaining from the edges of the cavity.
To prevent the structure from falling, it is placed in a cup or mug of a suitable size.
Liquid honey is added to the hole so that 5–7 millimeters remain to the top of the cut. If the container is filled completely, the resulting juice will flow out of the radish. The top of the “barrel” is closed with a “lid” and left to brew at a temperature of 20 – 22 degrees. There is no need to put radishes in the refrigerator.
Very soon, literally after 30 minutes, when the honey dissolves, the syrup can be used for medicinal purposes.
In order not to worry that the root crop will overflow and the healing potion will spill out, you can slightly modernize the design.
To do this, a hole for honey is made in the manner described above. Using a small sharp knife, cut off the root, leaving a cut with a diameter of 1.5 - 2 centimeters. At this point, the radish is pierced with the tip of a knife in 2 - 3 places. This preparation is placed on a small clean glass or mug, and the required amount of honey is added. As honey syrup forms, it will not accumulate in the upper part of the root crop, but will flow into an empty container located below.

How to prepare syrup if the radish is small
If the root vegetables are small in size and making excavations in them is not convenient, then you can use another method of extracting syrup.
The radish is washed, peeled and peeled with a sharp knife. Then the pulp is cut into cubes with a side width of 1 centimeter, or into cubes 1.5 - 2 centimeters long.
The slices are placed in a plastic container or glass jar. Depending on the amount of radish, add 1 - 2 tablespoons of honey. Usually honey and chopped vegetables are taken in a ratio of 1:2. After 20 - 30 minutes you will be able to take the first dose of the miracle cure.
Quick option
This method is suitable for those who don’t have time to wait for syrup to form from large pieces of radish.
The root crop is washed and completely peeled. Using a grater with a medium or fine cross-section, the vegetable is ground into shavings. Since the radish is quite juicy, the juice will begin to release already at the chopping stage. Season the prepared slices with honey and wait 4–5 minutes. After this, the mass is filtered through gauze, and the resulting syrup is used as a healing potion.
Rare syrup with sugar
For some people with allergies, bee products are taboo. In this situation, regular granulated sugar will help out. This product is also hygroscopic. Radish sugar syrup will perfectly cope with the disease, but the overall benefit to the body will, of course, be significantly lower compared to syrup made with honey.

Green and white radish syrup
Root vegetables of other varieties can also be used for medicinal purposes. The technology for preparing radish syrup from white and green radishes is absolutely similar to that used to prepare medicine from their black counterpart. At the same time, root vegetables have a slightly smaller amount of nutrients and a milder taste.
How to take radish syrup for medicinal and preventive purposes
Radish syrup is consumed for medicinal purposes 3 to 5 times a day. For adults, a single dose is 1 tablespoon, for children – 1 teaspoon. As a preventive measure, the syrup is taken once a day before meals, for a course of 1 month. Dosages should not be exceeded, as radish has a rather strong effect on the body.
How to store red syrup
Freshly prepared mixture can be stored at room temperature for 24 hours. During this time, the amount of honey is periodically added. A shrunken and reduced in size root vegetable indicates that there is no juice left in the radish. The syrup is poured into a small container, covered with a lid and stored in the main compartment of the refrigerator for 3 days.
